Our Quality Management Strategy

Global Load Control has a comprehensive Quality Management Strategy. It already kicks off the day new employees walk in for their first day of training and is a continuous process during the entire career at GLC.

In our excellent training courses in which safety is emphasized as our highest priority, the weight and balance criteria are taught by our qualified and licensed trainers who pass on their knowledge to the new staff. The focus on high quality standards continues on the on-the-job training where experienced and highly motivated agents train the new employees on the floor.

Once checked out as Load Control Agents, the safety culture is embedded into employees by encouraging open lines of reporting and a 360-degree feedback loop.

Our Customer Relations Team also plays an integral part of the safety strategy, whereby they have regular telephone conferences and email contact with customers where they discuss and mutually agree upon safety related topics.

As a final tier to the strategy, the quality team completes regular internal audits on various areas. Some of the regular areas which are audited are: the ISO certified Quality Management System, bi-annual Quality Culture audits and various ad hoc audits. The quality team is also responsible for the risk management within the organisation, a comprehensive Safety Management System and the compliance and governance structure.
